I went to Daisies for dinner today and loved the food. The server helped me really well with my best options being a vegetarian. The Mushroom pasta was really good however I wish I had more options as I am allergic to egg. I also couldn’t have any cheesecakes or ice creams as all of them had eggs. My next destination should be a restaurant which can accommodate my choices well. But yeah whatever I had at Daisies today was tasty.

Memorable meal!
We were celebrating a special event, and so glad we chose Daisies. We were seated at a table where a conversation could be enjoyed without straining.
The server had a great personality and made the perfect recommendations after listening carefully to our preferences.
They rotate their menu so we ordered items that were going away for now. The cheese curds were delicious. The pasta was fresh and deeply satisfying. Both the liquor and their NA drinks h
ad pizzaz. We were really full, but how can you say no to Butterscotch Budino?! The orange flavor and crunchy toppings went very well together.

We have been waiting to come to Daisies for a few years now, and we're finally able to pull the trigger during restaurant week. Every. Single. Thing. We. Ate. Was. Amazing! The highlights are of course their handmade pasta dishes, each bite of which was like being in pasta heaven.
We were pleasantly surprised by the starter squash salad and the olive oil crumb cake as well, though the standout dessert was their tiramisu.
Service was very well paced, and our water glasses were never empty for very long. The ambiance here is relaxed and very enjoyable.
As Daisies has a seasonal menu based on the produce that comes from their partner farm, we will absolutely be back another time to try whatever they have to offer.

Most recently visited Daisies on Jan. 19, 2025 to try their new(ish) brunch offering (started Sept. 1, 2024).
The menu was well sized, offering a variety of main entrees that offers something for every taste. From vegetarian to carnivore. While traditional breakfast options (biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, pancakes, etc.) were well represented, also on offer were some alternative options, including two pasta dishes and a smoked fish sandwich. Cocktails, wine, and beer were well represented as were non-alcoholic drinks, including made-to-order espresso drinks.
I enjoyed the Smoked Whitefish Sandwich which was very flavorful, without being overly salty, and of a large portion size. The bread complimented the fish well and, if baked in house, deserves kudos.
Drinks were well made and complimented the meal. Enjoyed the Belle Sour and an Old Fashioned.
Service, as always, was exceptional. Attentive staff, without being overbearing, despite the house being full from the time I was seated until the time I departed. Some knock the establishment for the 25% service charge on all tickets, which goes to the employees, but the restaurant goes above and beyond to notify all diners of this charge before anyone orders. I appreciate that transparency as well as the choice to move away from the tip-based scheme.
Ambiance of the restaurant is, well, nothing to write about but one is here for the food above all else.

Daisies is one of the hottest spots in Chicago for a good reason!
This was my second time here, and all I can remember from my first visit is the regret of not getting the potted carrots. Every table around us got them and raved about them so the main mission of this trip was to obviously get the carrots, they were fantastic. I also always recommend the Frito Misto and chips & dip. When you’re here for tomato season you have to get the tomato as a starter!
All of their house made pastas are also incredible, they rotate often but the Pierogis are a staple usually and if you like mussels then get them. We got their cavatelli and then a Mushroom Papardelle which were my two favorites of the evening. The nduja is good but not great, I’ve had it twice and it’s just not for me I guess.
And for dessert they have an amazing pastry chef so you can’t go wrong with anyone. A top notch place, they do charge an automatic service fee (which for whatever reason seems to be the main reason people leave negative reviews?) so be prepared for that, but I always have had good service here so to me it is always warranted!
